The Centre has accorded a Z+ safety cowl of CRPF commandos to the NDA’s presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu, officers stated on Wednesday.
The armed squad took over the safety of Ms Murmu, 64, early Wednesday morning,a senior officer advised PTI.
BJP president JP Nadda introduced the candidature of Ms Murmu, a celebration chief from Odisha who served as Jharkhand governor, at a press convention Tuesday evening following a gathering of the celebration’s parliamentary board, which included Prime Minister Narendra Modi and different senior leaders.
