The San Francisco 49ers overcame some adversity on Sunday to defeat the division rival Seattle Seahawks 27-7

Beginning quarterback Trey Lance was injured halfway by the primary quarter after his leg ben

as he was tackled on a pink zone run whereas attempting to increase San Francisco's early lead.

Lance had begun the sport 2 of three for 30 yards passing and 13 yards on three carries

however that third tote ended with him collapsing to the bottom in a heap and ultimately needing to be carted off

He was instantly dominated out for the sport by the staff, which described it as an ankle damage

After the win, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Lance suffered a damaged ankle and executed for the season.

The second-year quarterback was changed within the lineup by Jimmy Garoppolo

His landing go was a 38-yarder to a wide-open Ross Dwelley, who ended up on their own within the Seattle secondary
