IPL 2020 Points Table :The first and foremost goal of the eight teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) will be to finish in top four on the points table. Total of 56 league matches will be played, and that will determine the four teams who will advance to playoffs. Teams will be awarded two points for a win and in case, there is no result both the teams will get one point. If a match is tied, then Super Over will decide the winner and the winning team will get two points. At the end of the league stage, top four teams will advance to next round. If teams are tied on points, then run rate will come into play. The team with higher net run rate will go through.
The race to the playoffs in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL-12) has become increasingly competitive, with six teams currently in contention for the top four spots.
